16th April 2013 - Storytelling comes naturally to Without a Trace owner Michael Ehrlich. When showed the first installment of Leather & Suede, Ehrlich loved it, and his girlfriend couldn’t stop laughing. The story, which takes place in Chicago, is a tale of love, mystery, and fabric.Detectives Leather & Suede are on the case of Stephen Bromwell, a villain that has disappeared, only leaving a ripped sheepskin jacket behind. Weaving through the city, the two detectives meet garment themed characters from all walks of life, and even travel across the country to New Mexico. Entries to the story will be posted twice a week, starting on Apr. 1.Working in reweaving has introduced Michael Ehrlich to hundreds of different kinds of fabrics and weaves. Suits costing thousands of dollars and even fur coats, worth upwards of five figures, are brought in to Without a Trace for repair.
