What Saved Eric from Sure Death - Evil or Divine

By Varun Vashist on August 08 2013 | 376 Views

"Dead but Living" - A fantasy thriller from the author of Borrowed life series, 4.2 stars out of 5 with 7 five star reviews

Bangalore, India, August 08, 2013 -- Varun S Vashist always had one question in his mind: Can someone who has no power; physically or intellectually be a savior; a superhero. What if you have done everything EVIL in your lifetime and still chosen for something. And what if there is no one who knows about that or guides you.

All these questions made the basis of "Borrowed Life Series". The first book in the series "Dead But Living" (http://varunsvashist.blogspot.com ) takes the readers through the journey of Eric, who had done all bad things in his life and abused anyone who had come in his contact. No wonder, everyone was happy when he was on his deathbed. But, he had a dream and suddenly got cured. It was as if the heavens had made a mistake and rewarded a wrong guy.

Anyone would have been happy to be in Eric’s position. But, he was skeptical. He was sure of being saved by some Evil force. He himself was Evil and knew that had he saved someone, he would have made that person pay heavily for that. He had no one to help him. All doors were closed for him. He had to take the journey alone OR did he? He started seeing things that no one had ever believed. He started meeting people he had never heard of. Would he be able to know about his getting cured? What saved him - EVIL or DIVINE?

What readers are saying:
"A story that is so different in its approach that makes you think what is going to happen next. keeps you on the edge and also makes you wonder what adventure is going to happen next. Eric’s dilemma is something that could happen to anyone. A situation when you feel that there is no way out. Waiting for the sequel."

"One of those stories where you become a part of journey of the character and realize in the end that the things that you had overlooked were quite important. The story has many layers and keeps curiosity level high."
