Vembu delivers specialized backup software for Xenserver and allows individual and entire host level selections of VMs and Recovery.

Brief overview of Design:

The development and design team at Vembu has implemented Xen APIs for backup and disaster recovery. As a result, users can experience better storage efficiency and better IOPs in the storage. This enables IT admins of small and medium sized businesses to have confidence in knowing their data is backed up and stored intact. During critical times of recovery, the backed up data is available anytime to restore and keep the VM running.

Vembu always prioritizes privacy and security for IT admins who will use the product. Hence, backups are compressed and encrypted both during transit and at rest. The backed up data will be intact in the storage allowing the XVA files to be recovered. Once the XVA files is recovered, users can deploy VMs. In order to provide the best backup experience for Xenservers, the backup data is securely streamed to the backup server.

In addition, IT administrators have the option to replicate the backed up Xenserver VMs to Amazons cloud, powered by VembuOnline Backup. This will be helpful for those who need the VMs to be go live with minimal downtime if and when disaster strikes.
