Tushar Singh from VIBGYOR High Vadodara School wins silver medal

Tushar Singh, a student of Grade IX from VIBGYOR High Vadodara Schoolshowcased his winning spirit at the National Inter District Junior Athletics Championship 2015, held at Vishakhapatnam,from September 5thto 7th, this year.The event witnessed participation from around 4,000 students, across various categories.
Tushar Singhdisplayed his athletic talent by securing the second position in U-14 Short-put (13 meter 38 cm). He was awarded with a silver medal and a cash prize of Rs. 2,000 at the event. He was further awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 11,000/- by Baroda District Athletics Association.
Tushardiscovered his potential in the sport only when he participated in an event early this year. Since then, he has been rigorously practicing to enhance his skills. From next year onwards, he aims to participate in other athletic sports as well. Besides Short-put, he is passionate about Cricket,and he has been developing skills to excel in this sport, too.
The specifically designed and focused Sports and Performing Arts programme at VIBGYOR High, along with dedicated training and assistance provided by professional coaches, is helpingTusharfurther strengthen his athletic skills.
