The Romanian Security Project now offers chat areas for members

One of the most valuable tools of the Internet is the ability to communicate. In fact, this could even be said to be the primary purpose of the system - computers communicate with each other, businesses communicate with each other, and encyclopedias communicate information that humans communicate a request for. Communication is everywhere, but rarely is it as curious or interesting as the communication between human beings. Now, the Romanian Security Project is offering a new way for hackers to communicate with each other.

With the recent updates to the project, members of the RSP Forum will have an easier time communicating than ever before. Talking is an important component of hacking, more than many people ever expect or know. One common image of a hacker is that of a lone young man, working from his basement to break into secure files... But this image doesn’t actually reflect the reality of the situation. Worse, it doesn’t even begin to take into consideration the way that true hackers work together to overcome their problems.

Hacking is a complicated field - whether hackers are looking to protect themselves and their computers by creating their own security or they’re helping businesses and governments with their own defenses, at least a basic understanding of the offensive aspects is critical to accomplishing anything. So many things can happen in so many places that staying on top of it is quite difficult, which is a major reason that so many hackers work together to share ideas.

As communication between members occurs, many things happen. New users are exposed to the experiences and ideas of older members of the group, who can provide some much-needed context for events. Hacking is not a very friendly field to amateurs, even if only because of the need to understand basic scripting. On the other hand, experienced users are often exposed to new ideas and sources of inspiration that they can use to improve their own efforts, which is a net positive for the group as a whole. Communication is the main key to success, and the Romanian Security Project is proud to offer better ways for its members to communicate with each other.

As the name implies, the Romanian Security Project was started to help citizens of Romania join with the greater world of the internet and establish themselves as talented and capable hackers.
