2-day ’Festival of Love’ planned, to make this Valentine’s Day more special.
Bangalore, India, February 11, 2016 -- Roses, gifts and romantic candlelight dinners have become the standard fare for Valentine’s Day, but The Collection, UB City has plans to make this year’s Valentine’s Day extra special for all Bangaloreans by extending the celebrations over a 2-day period. It’s a stroke of luck that this year, Valentine’s Day falls on a weekend and The Collection, UB City has made the most of this with a stellar line-up of International and Indian Comedy and music performances starting from Saturday - 13 February and continuing till Sunday - 14 February 2016. Tickle your Valentine’s funny bone and dance to your heart’s content at the ’Festival of Love’ by The Collection, UB City.
The comedy conglomerate will make you laugh till you fall off your seats with Kanan Gill & Biswa Kalyan Rath’s laugh riot "Kiswa & Banana", Kenny Sebastian’s latest special "A Door Through a Window", Improviser and Richa Kapoor & Sumukhi Suresh’s Hinglish Comedy Sketch Show (with pinches of Tamil and Punjabi). The music spread includes Bass Supremo Nucleyo, cult rap legend Baba Sehgal, prodigal rapper Naegy and others.

Sumukhi Suresh, Richa Kapoor, Sketch in the City and Them Boxer Shorts stir the stage up with improvised comedy and sketch comedy. ’Sketch in the City’ by Richa Kapoor and Sumukhi Suresh is a Hinglish (also pinches of Tamil and Punjabi) comedy sketch show with a filmy, overtly exaggerated take on life incidents. On one hand, we have TV serial actresses and their reality behind the camera while on the other, we have a simple love story between an unusual Arab couple. Don’t expect anything subtle because they are proud to be over the top and absolutely out there!
