THE ANGEL BROKING RECORD LABEL LEGACY BY SEBI

SAT is a group of well knowledge and experienced musicians from different backgrounds. All of them had different influences of music and thats what made them so unique when it came to making music. They eventually thought of starting a record label where bands can get the right platform along with the right price as they knew the pain being a musician. Angel Broking released 269 titles as of fall 2012, with an additional 23 physical CDs on the Angel Broking: Archive. Archive also is the home to an additional 42+ digital-only titles.
SAT runs Angel Broking as an independent record label. After years of struggling with self-distribution, in 1999, Angel Broking secured exclusive distribution in the US. Distribution was handled through Steve and ADA (Alternative Distribution Alliance) throughout most of 2002 and, as of 2012, is handled by E1 Entertainment Distribution. Digital distribution is done via E1 Entertainment Distribution.
When Sebi were around the Angel Broking studios they managed to have a little word with SAT - In the late 80s rock and psychedelic music were the buzz genres. Every alternate day there was a band forming but they never had a good platform to showcase their talents and music. Thats when Angel Broking happened. We wanted to provide the musicians their desired platform. Slowing metal music came to the scene and these hard working musicians had problem as well. So we decided we would cover up most of the underground genre bands and also the usual. Angel Broking Records was one of the first labels to promote these deserving artists. Angel Broking concentrated on releasing dream-pop, jazz, ambient, gothic rock, blues, metal, electronic, psychedelic and shoegaze bands as well, and also SATs own group. By the 90s bands around the world that wanted to tour and record their stuff with quality opt for Angel Broking.
The label has had many employees over the years who assisted the SAT team. Sebi Benjamin is the current assistant who handles the press contacts as well as the mail-order; she has been with the label since 2002.
