So Tango, North Sydney, Australia invites the public to attend a milonga (Argentine tango social dance event) on Saturday 27th September with a special guest demonstration of tango tap by Tony Adams.

Sydney, Australia, September 09, 2014 - The public can take advantage of the invitation by So Tango, North Sydney, Australia to attend a milonga (Argentine tango social dance event) on Saturday 27th September with a special guest demonstration of tango tap by Tony Adams.

Tony Adams holds two Guinness World records for speed tap dancing and was the world’s fastest tap dancer from 2008 to 2011. Tony is frequently seen at conferences and on international cruise ships around the globe. He tells his unique story of being crippled at birth and how he overcame this by his mother putting him to tap dance at age 3 years. He then demonstrates his blistering speed dancing to show how clever his mother was, given the medical fraternity wanted to operate on him.

Tony said when interviewed, "I am delighted to do a cameo appearance at So Tango’s milonga. I dance Argentine tango myself and it’s my way of giving back to dance which has been so good for me." He went on to say "Tango tap is one of the 20 tap dancing styles that I have mastered and is a far cry from the 25 taps per second I do in my speed tapping segment".

The milonga is open to past dance students and any member of the public. In order to take advantage of this offer they are encouraged to visit So Tango’s website at http://www.so-tango.com for full details.

Sophia Alvarez de Lautour, founder and principal of So Tango, said "We are delighted to have the world’s fastest tap dancer add great flavor to our event and give tango lovers a unique taste of tango in another dance form. "

So Tango is a premier Argentine tango studio offering tango lessons in North Sydney and Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs by its director and principal instructor Sophia Alvarez de Lautour, an Australian tango champion. You can learn more about So Tango by visiting its website at http://www.so-tango.com
