Las Vegas, NV (USA), October 18th, 2012 -- The SmartTOP roof module ( http://www.mods4cars.com ) announced in July 2012 is now available from stock and comes with a full plug-and-play wiring adapter. This special adapter allows a quick and simple installation of the aftermarket convertible top module. Anyone can install the SmartTOP module in minutes and with minimal effort.
The convertible top add-on module allows top operation from a distance using the original key fob. No programming or changes of the key fob are necessary. Additionally top operation is possible while driving at speeds of up to 40 km/h. With the one-touch function a short key press is all that is required for top operation.
The windows can be opened from the factory remote fob separately. The SmartTOP module ensures that the top operation will not be interrupted while switching the ignition on or off. All modules offered by Mods4cars ( http://www.mods4cars.com ) can be programmed individually and removed from the car without any trace. The roof module ships with a standard USB port and cable. This enables the customer to access free software updates offered by Mods4cars and allows the module configurations to be set on a PC. An ultra plug-and-play wiring adapter is part of delivery.
