PokerGuru Tour Announces October Edition Schedule

After a successful four series this year, the PokerGuru Tour (PGT) will be coming back for the penultimate series of PGT Season 2 in October. The four event series will be held from 25-28th October onboard the floating Casino Royale card room. PGT October edition will see a slight change in tournament buy-ins from its previous editions. "There is some big news; we have decided to tweak the buy-ins for PGT a bit. The series will now feature: 5k re-entry , 7k bounty , 30k Main Event and 66k 6-max high roller events" blogged team mentor Aditya ’Intervention’ Agarwal announcing the change in the PGT events structure.

Aditya Agarwal clarified the reason behind the change in buy-ins in his blog "Lot of thought has gone into these changes. I am one of the firmest supporters of having no re-entry events since they make no sense for high buy-in-small fields, but for a small buy-in and big field it makes a lot of sense. We finally feel that the field size in our 5k event is big enough to make it a re-entry giving player a much better ROI. The increase in buy-ins for the main event and high roller is keeping in mind what we want to eventually offer to the Indian tournament crowd." Members can read more in Aditya`s blog.

PokerGuru Tour has established itself as India’s most popular tournament series offering unmatched value and prizes to all players. PGT Season 2 Leaderboard

Consistency pays and no one knows this better then Mumbai`s Jasven Saigal. Jasven a tournament regular has been a consistent top finisher at PGT events and with his 8th place finish in the PGT 12K bounty event in July, he has jumped 3 places to take the lead in the race for the PGT Season 2 INR 12 Lacs leaderboard. The race is however still open as hot on his heels are PGT May champion Husain Lakda followed by Delhi`s Karan Jain and Kolkata`s Prabhat Mukherjea.
