NCQC has Successfully Completed Calibration Training Course for Jindal Saw Ltd

National Centre for Quality Calibration, leading NABL accredited calibration laboratory and NABL consultancy company in Gujarat, has successfully completed Instruments Calibration Training Course for Jindal Saw Limited, Gandhidham. The calibration training for Implementation of API Q1 5.8 requirements and General Requirements was organized at Jindal Saw Limited, Gandhidham Unit, on date 21st and 22nd April 2014 by NCQC.

The training was given by Mr. Jigar Panchal, Calibration Manager of NCQC, having wide knowledge of NABL guidelines and more than 9 years of experience in field of Instrument calibration. In this highly technical knowledge sharing event total 32 employees of Jindal has taken part for learning quality calibration practice.

NCQC has completed training Program at Jindal Saw Limited on following calibration process agenda:

> General requirements of calibration,
> Terminology used in calibration,
> Demonstration of calibration of equipments like Tape, scale, Volt Meter, ampere meter, Multimeter, Vernier caliper, micrometer etc.
> Measurement of uncertainty.
> Implementation of API Q1 5.8 Requirements.

The training was highly technical and informative for all the participants and it will be helpful and beneficial for their work and knowledge. The 2 days training program has helped them to learn about calibration process, requirement of calibration, measurement uncertainty techniques, instrument handling, quality measurement and much more. After successfully completion of this course, all participants had been awarded with a trainee certificates.
