Mods4cars Announces SmartTOP Convertible Top Controller for Jaguar F-Type Convertible

Las Vegas, NV (USA), September 01, 2014 -- Before the end of this year the after-market SmartTOP Convertible Top Controller ( http://www.mods4cars.com ) developed and marketed by Mods4cars will be available for the Jaguar F-Type. It allows full automatic one-touch top operation. A quick, single touch of the console switch is enough to raise or lower the top. It is no longer necessary to hold down the switch and wait for the top to finish. Additionally, the module will automatically raise the windows if desired.

With the SmartTOP kit installed it is also possible to control the top from a distance, using just the original key fob remote. A quick key combination on the fob activates full automatic top operation. This makes it possible to already lower the top while still approaching the car; a very useful feature on hot days to air out the car. A parked car can quickly be closed remotely at the first sign of rain. All that is required is the existing original car key.

Like all SmartTOP modules ( http://www.mods4cars.com ) there is a host of bonus features which all can be configured to individual needs. It is possible to control the windows separately from the top by remote, the console top switch direction can be reversed and an extended mode can be enabled which allows top operation to continue when starting or stopping the engine. The entire module can be disabled temporarily if needed while retaining all user settings for later.

Thanks to the standard USB port on the module, it can be conveniently configured and updated with any PC or Mac. Support software and firmware updates are available online and free of charge. A custom designed plug-and-play wiring adapter makes installing the kit a quick and easy endeavor for anyone.
