Maintain the Data Quality of database with FuzzyCruce

The application features a relatively basic user interface, yet it is sufficiently practical and approachable that even less knowledgeable individuals can work with it successfully from the first run.

The main window of FuzzyCruce allows you to load the source files, displaying each one’s ’Table List’, ’Fields’ and ’History’, so you can click on the one you want to operate in.

The program supports several different file formats, namely ACCDB, XLS, CSV and XLSX, enabling you to easily clean up your tables, regardless of the file type you store them in. You can load multiple files simultaneously, including of different extensions.

The application has been tested for the deduplication of databases of more than one million records. Unlike standart software the application has the ability to remove records that are fully contained in others.

For example, suppose a record contains the name "Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci" and another record contains "Leonardo da Vinci", most of the applications they are not programmed to remove these types of records, however FuzzyCruce can do so.

Similarly, the ’Join’ section of FuzzyCruce lets you select the two items you want to merge from the drop-down menus and pick the corresponding fields for each one, then enter the ’Threshold’ and establish the ’Output Fields’. After pressing the ’Join’ button, your results are displayed in the side panel.
