London Wedding Photographer Matt Badenoch Photography Books Two African Weddings

London, UK - Matt Badenoch, a London based wedding photographer ( http://mattbadenoch.com/ ) , has recently booked two back to back destination weddings in Africa for next month. The first taking place in Sierra Leone and the second on the other side of the continent in Ethiopia.

This kicks off a series of destination weddings for Matt (the first of his career) this year including weddings in Florence, Hungary and Copenhagen.

Having his first destination wedding in Sierra Leone is very fitting as it was in this country 4 years ago that Matt first discovered his passion for photography while working for an NGO in the capital of Freetown for 6 months.

After arriving in the country he quickly fell in love with the people and wanting a way to capture what he was witnessing he got out his newly bought DSLR and started to explore the country with his camera. He quickly grew to appreciate a photo’s ability to capture real powerful moments and tell a compelling story and so was born his passion for photography and what led him a couple of years later to launch his wedding photography business in the cultural mixing pot of London.

During his time in Sierra Leone he befriends some journalists who helped him have his photos published on BBC online and Reuters.

Commenting on the news Matt said “I hope this upcoming destination wedding will lead to more exciting travel opportunities in the future. This really has turned into my dream job.”
