League of India 2.0 Breaks into a Top 50 Indian News Websites List
By TheLeagueOfIndia on May 11 2018 | 619 Views
San Fransisco and Mumbai based internet organisation FeedSpot this week included League of India in their list of Top 50 Indian NEWS Websites.
This is the second coming of our venture – and hence League of India (“the League”) 2.0.
Born in 2005, the League has a very rich legacy of endeavours and achievements. Beginning as one of a kind print magazine, which later transformed into one of India’s only standalone online newspapers, the League has travelled a satisfying journey in the last 13 years.
The newest avatar is an inspiring one too. The League is now the world’s first News Action Tank ™.
One of the testimonies to that is the fact that even during this very short journey of the 2.0 version of the League, it is followed on Twitter by some of the leading global organisations and personalities, including a very popular ex US President.
We are also now adding close to 2000 new friends a week on Facebook. We expect to see that number rise to 20,000 per week in the coming months.
We are humbled by such affection and support.
The latest round of appreciation comes from the San Fransisco and Mumbai based internet organisation FeedSpot.
FeedSpot this week included League of India in their list of Top 50 Indian NEWS Websites.
It took the League (2.0) a mere 85 days to break into the list.
The top five spots are currently held by the Times of India, NDTV, India Today, the Indian Express and the Hindu respectively.
Though debuting at a modest position of 45, we are confident of breaking into the Top 10 of this list in the coming year.
n a message to our organisation, Anuj Agarwal, the founder of FeedSpot, said:
“I personally give you a high-five and want to thank you for your contribution to this world. This is the most comprehensive list of Top 50 Indian News Website on the internet and I’m honored (sic) to have you as part of this!“
We have always humbly accepted any and every word of appreciation and support. We accept this latest recognition too.
We thought it would be good to share it with you. You deserve to know. For, it is you who keeps us going.
Jai Hind! Vande Mataram!
