Leading Software Maniacs Announces Soft-Audit Analysis of the Effectiveness of Your Software Development/IT Organization

Leading Software Maniacs (LSM) is proud to offer the Soft-Audit analysis at your company’s site. Soft-Audit is a four-day review and analysis of the effectiveness of your software development or IT organization. We specifically examine the balance among planning, process, and people leadership activities with the ultimate goal to produce products and services on time, every time. In addition, an analysis is performed on how well the department’s culture and decision-making methodology supports the vision and mission of the company and support of the customer.

The first three days start off with an executive overview of your company, its business, and its customers followed by a series of one on one interviews asking questions and listening. This process will involve key members of your product development/IT team and with peers in other organizations that are dependent on the success of your organization.

The Soft-Audit evaluation normally takes a total of four days to complete. Recognizing that your software development/IT team will be suspicious and possibly defensive, Soft-Audit is designed to be as non-disruptive as possible. In fact, the entire activity involves lots and lots of listening without the risk of being judgmental or introducing conflict with your key individuals and teams. The final Soft-Audit analysis is prepared and delivered to your company’s executive management team on the last day of the Soft-Audit.
