Las Vegas, NV - Join Brett Wesley Gallery for “DISHING IT OUT 2016” a yearlong series of group show installations curated by Diane Bush premiering with “MUG SHOTS”. Opening reception will be Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 6 to 9 p.m. at 1025 S. First Street #150 in Art Square. The opening is free to the public. The exhibition will run 1/21/16 – 2/20/16



“DISHING IT OUT 2016”, is the name of an extensive and socially engaging satirical art project that will involve a national community of artists, and the national nonprofit, ROCK THE VOTE. The artists will providing the public with a therapeutic means to channel any negative or positive reaction to the election year media bombardment, by providing humorous and collectible artist designed mugs, ceramic commemorative plates, and original artworks. Participating artists include: Diane Bush (Las Vegas), Blair Baskin (Philadelphia, PA), Brian Duffy (Buffalo, N.Y.), Susanne Forestieri (Las Vegas), Sarah Lee Marks (Las Vegas), Lance L. Smith (Las Vegas), Jerry Ross (Eugene, Oregon), Ellen Furstner (Eugene Oregon), Strych9 (Las Vegas) and Timothy Hutto (Brooklyn, N.Y.).

Diane Bush is an internationally published and exhibited multi-media artist and ex-photo educator, who lives and works in Las Vegas, with her husband Steven Baskin, and Mookie the cat. Brett Wesley art receptions are held once a month usually on Preview Thursday, the Thursday preceding First Friday at 1025 S. First Street #150 in Art Square.
