Kerala Health Tourism 2011 Meet in the Offing

Kerala health tourism is set to witness a substantial meet organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on October 21-22 at Hotel Le Meridian.
It will be the third edition of the Kerala Health Tourism 2011, accompanied by International Conference and Exhibition on Health Tourism from October 21 to October 22 at Hotel Le Meridien.
The agenda of this meet is interesting as it would take into account the current and emerging trends, opportunities and challenges in the Indian Health Tourism arena, along with many other elements such as discussion on the preparedness of Indian hospitals etc. In fact, above all, it will focus on making the health tourism better and substantial in the Indian context.
In the wake, congregation of major hospitals is set to participate along with health insurance companies and various policy-makers. With tourism promotion boards, health travel and tour operators, there will be hotels and tourist resorts as well. It will also include international institutions for promotion of health tourism as well.
Apart from that, there will also be plenary sessions that would include International Experiences and Best Practices taking into consideration betterment of the current medical practices. It would also include Standardization, Accreditation and Quality Care and the exercise would stretch to Dental Tourism as well.
As we know that Kerala tourism majorly rests on the Ayurveda, various challenges and opportunities in this segment will be discussed as well. Health Tourism in Kerala, in overall direction, would also be undertaken.
