The pesticide handling and distribution training course is offered by professional consultants to ensure that the participants enhance their knowledge, skills and competency to safely distribute the pesticides taking health and safety precautions. On completion of the course an assessment is conducted on the use and calibration of the sprayer.

The pesticide handling and distribution training for the boom sprayer almost cover the same topics as like in the hand held sprayer course with additional details on handling, preparation and calibration of a boom sprayer. Both the courses are two day programs and on successful completion can lead to a level 5 qualification in Horticulture. The cost of hand held sprayer classes cost around 200 euros and that of Boom sprayer cost around 250 euros for the two day classes.
