Iron Software released VB.Net Excel Library for IronXL

IronXL plugs into any VB.NET application as a class library or NuGet package. It adds full features for opening, editing, exporting, and importing data from Excel within VB.NET applications, including MVC, web applications, desktop applications, and console applications, as well as server services. It also works on the Azure platform.

It supports VB.NET applications using the .NET Framework from Version 4 in addition to .NET Core and .NET Standard applications, allowing it to be deployed cross-platform, including support for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS.

It differentiates itself from the competition with its fluent API, allowing developers to easily develop Excel in a user-friendly coding environment. It also has no dependency on the installation of Microsoft Office, unlike Office Interop solutions.

It has been designed for usability and tested across common use cases, including upgrading old XLS files to XLSX, working with live formulas, and importing and exporting data to common formats such as CSV, tab-separated values, JSON, and XML.

IronXL provides an easy fix for importing data and exporting data from any application developed in VB.NET. Common use cases include exporting reports from web applications and business management systems. It is also commonly used to import data from Excel files within a business and import them into new databases.
