Fast Forward Academy Celebrates Successful Participation in Recent NAEA National Conference in Las Vegas

(ORLANDO FL) September 5, 2012 - Earlier this month, from August 5-7, the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) held its national tax conference in Las Vegas and Fast Forward Academy was proud to have participated as a vendor. Tax professionals from across the country attended the conference, looking to enhance their existing tax education knowledge and receive specific training.

Those who attended the NAEA National Conference received valuable tax education in the form of networking opportunities and in-person "tracks" geared toward a participant’s specific career path. For those professionals looking to receive further tax preparation education for the Special Enrollment Exam (SEE), there was a specific review track just for them. Each of the available six tracks included 24 hours of tax education, and participants were also able to create their own program by picking and choosing various classes from the different tracks. The conference also included the well-known National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI), a three-day program on representation before the IRS.



This year, the plenary speaker was Karen L. Hawkins, MBA, JD, the director of IRS’ Office of Professional Responsibility. Ms. Hawkins is responsible for enforcing a standard of conduct and integrity among tax professionals, and has over 25 years of private practice experience.

Over 800 participants heard about such topics as Introduction to Criminal Investigations, Representing Non-Filers, Tax Research & Resources, Introduction to Collections and Communicating with IRS and Notices. Online evaluation forms are now available for anyone who attended a session at the NAEA National Conference and would like to leave feedback.
