Castilla-La Mancha has Shown the Quality of Our Oils and Cheeses to Over 40 Million Potential Customers in the Persian Gulf

This trade mission has involved the Departments of Employment and the Economy and Agriculture

Spain, March 10, 2013 - The Minister of Employment and the Economy of the regional government, Carmen Home, praised the work of promoting food products that companies in Castilla-La Mancha, in collaboration with the IPEX (Trade Promotion Institute), under the Ministry of Employment and the Economy, and with the collaboration of the Ministry of Agriculture, have been conducted in the Gulfood exhibition that was held recently in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).

The participation of companies Castilian-La Mancha has taken place in the official flag of Spain, where they could promote mainly oil and cheese.

This fair is one of the largest agribusiness exhibition of Persian Gulf area and brings together nearly 4,000 exhibitors from around the world in the 100,898 meters square available. It is oriented exclusively to trade visitors and dealers, importers and distributors in more than 150 countries.

In this regard, Casero said that "the government in 2013 Cospedal keep the promotion strategy that has helped to achieve the best results in 2012 on the history of Castilla-La Mancha in exports."

The Minister of Employment has stated that "the importance of this event lies in the projection agribusiness in some of the most important countries of the Persian Gulf and great tendency to import quality products for more than 40 million potential consumers."

Finally, Home is reported that food exports to the Persian Gulf area have increased considerably in recent years, amounting in 2012 to 628 million nationally and clearly a welcome development for Castilla-La Mancha , which could be consolidated this year.
