MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM - December, 2015 - Micro-indie software company with an unusual name, Big Angry Dog Ltd, announces that 10% percent of its sales will go to a small charity which helps the homeless. Manchester based Big Angry Dog is a small independent software outfit creating unique and niche online software such as Hardwipe, a data sanitization security toolkit aimed at social justice activists and journalists. DreamCalc is another of the company’s products - a Windows app that, not so much replaces the standard Windows calculator, but aims to emulate the almost tactile experience of using a real scientific graphing calculator. DreamCalc is licensed by Pearson Education and widely used throughout the US in online teaching. Andy Thomas of Big Angry Dog announces that his company is sponsoring a small local charity, Hope 4 Homeless UK, which provides essential support and outreach services to those living on the streets in the north of England. "I think small charities like Hope 4 Homeless deserve our help," he explains. "Homelessness is close to my heart, and I know that the people at H4H not only do great work, but really care about those they’re working with." He adds, "A contribution from a company such as mine can really make a huge difference to a small charity like Hope 4 Homeless. That’s why it’s so worth doing."
