This oil has been selected from over 1,000 samples for appearing in the 2013 edition of Floss Olei , "the world guide of extra virgin olive oil." This guide in English and Italian is a tool for the dissemination and promotion of the leading worldwide exponents in the olive oil production industry.

April 10, 2013, Alcolea del Tajo, Spain. Bercial San Rafael’s extra virgin olive oil enters the guide floss olei for oils within the world top’s 200 with a score of 84 points. This oil has been selected from over 1,000 samples for appearing in the 2013 edition of Floss Olei , "the world guide of extra virgin olive oil." This guide in English and Italian is a tool for the dissemination and promotion of the leading worldwide exponents in the olive oil production industry.

The Bercial of San Rafael is a great traditional olive farm. Its facilities include a careful and complete traditional mill and a mill equipped with the latest technology recently built, where some of the high-end oils that the Bercial of San Rafael sells are made. The farm has an area of 1,750 hectares located between scrubland, dry land and work areas irrigated by means of drip irrigation. The grove covers an area of 100 hectares, of which approximately 50 acres are a traditional olive variety called Cornicabra and 50 hectares are a young intensive olive varieties called Picual, Arbequina and Koroneiki.
