Bangiya Parishad celebrating 54th Year of Durga Puja

After Ganpati Utsav now fever is gripping up for Durga Puja fever like never before and thanks to the efforts of BangiyaParishad THANE , Thane is all set to witness the Oldest Durga Puja In Thane.

Bangiya Parishad initiated the prestigious Durga Puja celebration since 54 years at Highland Gardens Dhokali - Balkum Rd, Dhokali inThane from October 6th- October 11th 2016.
On 54nd year of Durga Puja, committee will be holding some special programme & decorating the venue differently. The Durga- maa temple will be made up of eco-friendly material like jute, bamboos, Hay, Chand-mala, Kadam-phool( made up with sola).

The premises will built in an area of 200 X 200 sq. feet. Pandal is made up on 60 X 60 sq feet area and 60 X 20 sq feet of stage. Many programmes have been organized & they will all begin from October 6th Starting from Milan Mela (Bengali Cuisine Competition), On Saptami there will be interactive programme Baul ( Bengali Folk song) performance by Krishna Das Baul & GEMS OF MANNA DEYpresented by Surjo Bhattacharya. Also on Navami Famous Playback Singer Javed Ali will be Performing in this event on October 10nd & would be a great crowd puller because of his great fan following.

The highlights of previous years celebrations were performances by celebrities like Shreya Ghoshal, AlkaYagnik, SudeshBhosale, KunalGanjawala, ,Shaan .With power packed entertainment on a much higher scale this year the event is also coming up with A Consumer Expo from various fields. We are compelled to say, It simply can’t get bigger than this .We have also invited some reputed personalities from various fields like Corporate, Politics and Social.

Food is an important part of all Puja Pandals in Thane & Mumbai. And just like every year, this year too, there will be many food stalls with authentic Bengali delicacies like fish, cutlets , mutton chops and rassogolla etc.

More than lakhs of visitors are expected during this Six days event.

Adding to the color and festive atmosphere are picturesque stalls with rare food delicacies and other attractive items on offer. So, Thanekarbe ready for a lifetime experience to take the blessings of Goddess Durga.
