Audemars Piguet Released a New Version of Royal Oak Offshore Diver Watch

If you love diver watches, and loved the 300 meter water resistance offered by the previous version of the Royal Oak Offshore diver watch, the new Audemars Piguet version will offer you all that and much more. It is available for about $20,000, in stores and online.

The new Royal Oak Diver watch is similar to its previous version. The major difference is the forged carbon case. Unlike the previous version, the latest version uses an in-house case made from heated and compressed carbon thread. The material improves the durability and strength of the watch, and will remind you of the original Audemars Piguet forged carbon collection of luxury watches such as the Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph Forged Carbon. Apart from the forged carbon version, which has a black ceramic bezel and metallic caseback, you can also go with the stainless steel version.

The watch is designed for the seasoned Audemars Piguet fans. You will also enjoy the black dial, and its striking yellow minute hand. This is one of the few non-chronographic watches in the Royal Oak Offshore family. It is a great product for watch lovers looking for larger fashion watches with simple dials. For its width of 42 mm, the watch is not very thick as well. It is less than 14 mm.

Audemars Piguet understands the importance of functionality. In spite of the dark dial, the texture and finishing differences on the dial of the forged carbon version make it legible. The inner rotating bezel is controlled by the crown located at the 10o click position of the dial.
