At Home Medical Creates iPush Foundation as Online Resource for Wheelchair Community

At Home Medical, an online provider for medical supply home delivery, has proudly announced the launch of a non-profit motivational program called the iPush Foundation that is now available to join on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/IPushFoundation and at www.ipush.org.

iPush Foundation founder, Chris Malcom, became a C-7 quadriplegic as a result of an automobile accident in his twenties. His desire to help other wheelchair users led him to create the iPush Foundation as well as offering ongoing resources, lifestyle aids, sporting event news and peer support options through the foundation’s website and social media pages.

Malcom says, "I’ve been in a wheelchair for nearly 25 years and hope to make the path you roll a little easier. That’s why we created the iPush Foundation."

Began as an effort to improve online resources for people who use wheelchairs, the iPush Foundation aims to provide lifestyle articles and a source of encouragement for anyone who uses a wheelchair, with the overall goal of creating a supportive community of wheelchair users, worldwide.

iPush community content resources and the foundation’s website were created by Get Social Consulting, a social media agency that specializes in developing digital healthcare communities.
