American Green Taps One of the Country’s Preeminent Medical Cannabis Attorneys

Tempe, AZ, October 06, 2014 -- American Green, Inc (OTC Pink: ERBB) (PINKSHEETS: ERBB) announced today that it has hired Jerry Chesler, a preeminent Arizona and New York medical marijuana business attorney. He will join American Green as its General Counsel and Vice President - Cannabis Operations. Jerry’s experience and connections in the marijuana industry along with his proven track record while in private practice, will allow American Green to further expand its business nationwide.

According to Stephen Shearin, American Green’s president, "Mr. Chesler will play a key role in our new MMJ Managed Services division as well as become an integral part of our overall business. Having Jerry in-house with his long list of industry contacts and national reputation as a cannabis speaker is a big win for American Green."

The addition of Mr. Chesler enables American Green to provide a full suite of consulting and advisory services to MMJ industry participants including, but not limited to, MMJ compliance, application preparation, and license acquisition. Arizona’s MMJ program requires structuring nonprofit businesses designed to operate in a highly regulated environment. Recently, Illinois modeled its MMJ program after Arizona’s, and Florida has indicated it will do the same should its MMJ referendum passes.

Arizona is among the most regulated MMJ states and, unlike other western states, had no unregulated MMJ program prior to passage of its voter referendum. This has made Arizona a model for future MMJ states and a magnet for serious investment. Mr. Chesler’s extensive experience with MMJ law policies and procedures gives American Green a decided competitive advantage which will complement its planned expansion into other states.

When asked for comment, Mr. Chesler said, "I have loved my cannabis business practice for the past four years and would have been very happy to continue that. But the opportunity to join an industry leader like American Green, right here in Arizona, was simply too attractive to pass up.
