New York, NY, USA, December 25, 2013 -- The Spine & Pain Institute of New York is pleased to announce expanded availability in the Queens and Long Island area. The practice can now offer proven techniques in interventional pain management in South Ozone Park, Queens and extended hours in New Hyde Park and Mineola, Long Island.

“Chronic pain can be difficult to treat, and I often see patients who have been either misdiagnosed, inadequately treated or dismissed due to a lack of understanding of their pain” says Dr. Bolash. “At The Spine & Pain Institute of New York, treating patients with pain is all we do, and we can offer the most proven and successful treatments to allow our patients to return to their lives without the burden of chronic pain”.

Robert Bolash, MD was trained in interventional pain management at the Cleveland Clinic where he was named “Fellow of the Year”. He is also involved in education for physicians in training, and lectures practicing physicians at scientific meetings. In addition to clinical patient care, Dr. Bolash is involved in research with recent publications focusing on the effectiveness of interventional techniques in improving patients’ quality of life while decreasing their reliance on medications.

“By understanding the problem causing a patient’s pain, I tailor specific treatments to decrease or eliminate the cause, or block pain signals from traveling to the brain. With less reliance on medications, the expense and side effects of taking pain medication can be avoided,” says Dr. Bolash. “As New Yorkers, we are busy people with high-expectations and often do not have time to take a myriad of medications with only marginal benefits, so I offer patients strategies for chronic pain that well beyond the time when pain medications lose efficacy,” says Dr. Bolash.

For more information, or to schedule an appointment in New Hyde Park (2035 Lakeville Road), South Ozone Park (133-55 Lefferts Boulevard) or Mineola (137 Willis Avenue) with Dr. Robert Bolash, please contact 212-724-7246.
