9 champions of VIBGYOR High Goregaon shine in the 12th Mumbai Inter School Aquatic Championship 2015

Mumbai, September 2, 2015: VIBGYOR High Goregaon School achieved remarkable victory in the 12th Mumbai Inter ISC/ ICSE Schools Aquatic Championship 2015, held at The Ozone Club Swimming Pool, Siddharth Nagar, Goregaon (West), Mumbai on 1st and 2nd September, 2015. The competition witnessed participation of 800 students from various schools across Maharashtra.
9 students, both boys and girls, under different age categories U-8/10/14/16 won numerous medals 11 Gold, 5 Silver and 4 Bronze, for the school. 2 students, Dhanyush Raniga, U-16 Boys and Tejaswita Bhardwaj, U-16 Girls got selected to represent State at the National level, wherein Tejaswita managed to break previous records of 1:22:66 minutes in 100 meter back stroke to 1:14:38 minutes and 34:79 seconds in 50 meter back stroke to 34:65 seconds.
Commenting on the victory, Mr. Shim Mathew, Principal, VIBGYOR High Goregaon School said, I am very proud of all my winning students and would like to congratulate each one of them. Our best in class infrastructure with extensive training provided to students in sports, along with academic learning sharpens the competitive spirit amongst our students. I am also thankful to our coaches for providing the required guidance for winning various tournaments.
